  • Great Venue

We attended a wedding weekend at the lodge as well as stayed in a cabin and it was a great getaway. Food and service was great at the restaurant. Wedding space above the creek was beautiful. Beautiful view from the deck of the cabin we stayed in.

  • We Loved Our Stay

Great value. Excellent restaurant with plant-based and vegan options. (The Bloody’s are excellent!) Quiet and picturesque. We’ll be back. It was our first stay and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

  • Perfect

We recently stayed in the Birdhouse cabin. It was clean, comfortable and cozy for us both. Great views of the resort and Lake Superior. Went to the restaurant and enjoyed live music on Saturday night, dinner and appetizers were delicious.

  • Perfect Location, Charming Atmosphere

We stayed here in Cabin 2 for 2 nights with our dog. The cabin was perfect for us -real log cabin charm and a comfortable living room. It was nice to sit out on the porch in the evening and watch the sun set over the big Lake. The beds were very comfortable. The onsite restaurant has farm to table specialties and the food was delicious.

  • Hiker's paradise!

Took my son up here for 4 nights staying at 5D. We had a good time, the room has 2 beds and a kitchen. Even though its right in the middle of the place it feels secluded with the way the trees and windows are situated. Lots of easily accessible hiking and views. Your are practically on the SHT and several other trails for skiing or snowmobiling depending on what you are into.

  • We love Cascade Lodge

We are going to tell everyone we know about this wonderful resort. We stayed in the suite in the main lodge. It was beautiful, spotlessly clean. Very comfortable with an amazing view of Lake Superior. The staff and owners were warm and welcoming and always available. Just a short walk to the restaurant, which has absolutely delicious food. We highly recommend this wonderful place to stay, close to all that the North Shore offers.

  • Great get away on the north shore!

We were greeted by friendly staff, given great trail suggestions. Our cabin was clean and cozy! loved the jet tub and deck to look out at the lake. Very comfortable. Close to trails, easy access. Nice, quiet beach across the street on the lake, you can have a fire!

  • What a nice place to stay!

First off, the lodge is very comfortable and very quiet. The ambiance of the entire lodge is very refreshing vs. the usual hotel/motel experience. The room was perfect, quiet and quite comfortable - the bed was almost as nice as my bed at home. Everything was very clean and comfortable.
