Need to Know Facts about Snowmobiling in Minnesota

  1. The Vintage Snowmobile Ride’s schedule changes each year, so be sure to confirm the events with our staff before attending for the most current information.
  2. The Vintage Snowmobile Ride’s hosts are Lutsen Trailbreakers Snowmobile Club and Cascade Lodge. The Lutsen Trailbreakers Snowmobile Club started in 1983 after locals saw a need to groom and maintain the snowmobile trails. Thanks to these individuals, we’re able to enjoy the Northern Minnesota snowmobile trails we know today.
  3. Guests looking to go vintage snowmobile racing must register by 10:30 am. The ride kicks off at noon.
  4. Each guest must pay $20 to participate. All of the snowmobile ride’s proceeds are donated to maintaining the trails.
